Load balancer statuses

You can view the status of the load balancer in dashboard under Cloud PlatformBalancers.

ONLINEAll availability checks are successful
CREATINGCreating the balancer
UPDATINGUpdating the balancer configuration
OFFLINEThe balancer is not processing requests and is down
DEGRADEDOne of the balancer servers is in ERROR status
ERRORAll servers are in ERROR status, or there is an error in the balancer itself. If all servers are working correctly and are in ONLINE status, create a ticket
DELETINGRemoving the balancer

Server statuses

You can view the status of the server in the rule in control panel under Cloud PlatformBalancers → Balancer page.

ONLINEAll availability checks are successful
CREATINGServer is added to the rule
UPDATINGServer settings are updated
OFFLINEServer is not accepting requests — while the server itself may be in active state
BACKUPServer is set to standby status and will be activated if the other servers in the rule are inoperable
NO_MONITORService availability is not verified by access checks If all balancer servers are in this status, the balancer status is ≠ ONLINE
DRAININGThe server does not accept new connections, but continues to process current connections
ERRORThe service on the specified port does not respond or fails the response type check
DELETINGThe server is removed from the balancer rule. This does not affect the performance of the server
