Colocation Product Description
The equipment is hosted in one of pools of our Tier III reliability level data centers. See data center specifications.
You can:
Selectel provides:
- guaranteed communication channel with high bandwidth;
- uninterrupted power supply;
- optimal climatic conditions (air conditioning and ventilation system);
- physical safety of the hardware.
The hardware can be maintained by yourself or by Selectel engineers. For the Rack Rental service, a basic level of remote equipment maintenance (equipment inspection and setup, diagnostics, component replacement, and inventory) is included.
To have your colocated hardware serviced by Selectel's engineering department, order additional service Remote equipment maintenance. Types of service work and current prices can be viewed on the Colocation and Rack Rental service pages on the website.
For self-maintenance of the hosted equipment, you can connect to it via IP KVM or rent an additional dedicated port on the network equipment. If you would like to come to the data center, create a ticket to arrange a time and date to visit.
Server location
The Colocation service includes:
- installation of hardware in the rack and initial network configuration;
- Unlimited channel 100 Mbit/s or 1 Gbit/s + 30 TB of free traffic per month;
- one public IPv4 address;
- IP KVM connection on request. Monthly 10 hours of IP KVM usage is free of charge;
- 24/7 technical support;
- allocated power of 300 VA per device with the possibility of increasing and connecting a second power supply unit;
- turning on, rebooting, and shutting down the server on request.
Placement of non-standard equipment
Special services are available for customers placing energy-intensive equipment:
- Allocating additional power to the outlet;
- provision of additional electrical outlets for connection of backup power supplies for servers.
Rent a rack
The Rack rental service includes:
- up to 47 units for standard servers;
- 24/7 technical support;
- dedicated power up to 5 kVA per rack (the exact value is specified in the service name on website);
- basic level of remote hardware maintenance — hardware inspection and setup, diagnostics, component replacement and inventory;
- lock for protection against unauthorized access.
